The charming and highly sought-after village of Peyia, with its wealth of amenities and stunning scenery lies 14km northwest of Pafos. It is situated on the inland coastal hills, bordering the Akamas National peninsular, a protected archeological park. Peyia is located near one of the most ancient sites of Cyprus, old Akamantida, which according to archaeologists may have been inhabited since 4,000 BC. Both the village of Peyia and nearby Coral Bay boast a wealth of local and international restaurants, which include Japanese, Mexican, Italian and Chinese amongst others.

The village hosts all amenities required for everyday living, such as banks, supermarkets, bakeries, gyms, spas and so on. Additionally a popular International School named TLC, which offers both primary and secondary education, is located within the village. Numerous public schools and a private health centre are also available. Peyia is home to some of the finest beaches of the area including the extremely popular blue flag sandy beach Coral Bay.

An abundance of recreational activities can be enjoyed in the area such as hiking, cycling, horse riding, go karting, and naturally a wealth of water sports. The quaint fishing port of Agios Georgios, which is renowned for its rugged sea caves is also just a few minutes away, as is the picturesque Pikni Pine Forest. The area is known for its fruit orchards and banana plantations which dot the landscape, and is also a wine cultivating region, thus many wineries can be found within close proximity.
